ANYONE RENTING A RACE CAR?

My future ex-wife is holding my race-car hostage for now, who knows what for, so I might need to rent a race car to start the season. Anybody has one? How much and conditions?

Man, that sucks. I feel for you.

There are several companies in SoCal that I know of that rent race cars.

They are:

  1. Evosport (E30 M3 - not cheap!)
  2. 7’s Only (RX-7s and Spec Miatas)
  3. ALIVE Motorsports (Spec Miata)
  4. Comeau Racing (944 Challenge)

There are probably others but these are the ones that I’m aware of.

If you’re looking for a Spec E30 to rent, maybe Walter at Valley Motorwerks in NorCal has something?

Good luck and if all else fails maybe you can drive your street car in HPDE 3 or 4.

My guys will be going to Cal Speedway for that weekend. I have a car that will be ready to run if you’re interested.

I got it back. The woman gave me access to my garage. I was so stressed. I just need an oil change and fresh tyres.
