The Independent Motorsports Group (IMG) sanctions wheel to wheel Sprint and Endurance Racing, as well as On-Track High Performance Driver’s Education events, On-Track Time Trials, and Competition Race Schools. Our goal is to provide a place for safe, no-contact performance driving in a friendly environment for drivers of all experience and skill levels.
We accept many other originations racing licenses and annul tech inspections. So if you race or have raced somewhere else, you can get on the track faster. If you don’t have a valid racing license, you can obtain one through the IMG racing school this September 29&30.
Although our racing is still very competitive, we are out there to have fun. It’s about having a good time, getting your car on track, and going home happy. We have a strict no contact policy; no one wants to total his or her car. This creates a very low stress environment, which is great for test and tune.
The races are timed from green flag to checkered flag, so a 20-minute sprint race really is 20 minutes of racing. Also our DEs are educationally focused. By keeping DE groups small, each driver gets quality track time and plenty of opportunity to sharpen their skills.
