Several people ran the new RRs during the fun race and during practice sessions this weekend. What were the initial impressions? (clearly some very fast times on Sunday!)

I heat cycled them in practice on Saturday and then ran them in the ‘fun run’ on Sunday morning. Conditions were nearly perfect (cool and dry) so times were fast across the board, but the RRs seemed about 2 seconds quicker than RA1s. I raced on very tightly shaved RA1s with only a few heat cycles on them on Saturday and I was turning 2:18s - with the RRs on Sunday morning my best lap was a 2:16.6.
The RRs feel very similar to the RA1s. The break away was smoother, and the overall grip level was higher. Too early to tell how long they will last. I used the same pressures and alignment settings as I do with the RA1s and they felt great. Just hope they last!
