Connecticut Autocross and Rally Team (C.A.R.T.) will be having 3 track days in 2010. We will have a full day event at Lime Rock on Thursday, June 17, a South Course event at Monticello Motorsports Monday, July 19 and a North Course event on Friday, August 27. All of our events will have timed runs this year, and we will have Team Relay events at Pocono and Monticello.
The Team Relay event consists of 5 car teams. Each team member has to make 5 laps. If you run less, you have to make them up, if you run more, they don’t count. Can you drive and count to 5? The teams are handicapped according to their accumulated time trial times, so fast or slow, you still have a chance. Our normal time trial passing rules apply, so it’s not a contact sport.
We limit the number of participants to make sure there is plenty of track time available to everyone.
