Just a heads up to both racers and HPDE alike - it makes NASA’s job much easier when we register early. In HPDE you run the risk of selling out anyway, but for racers - Jerry has a much better time of scheduling when he knows the #s, and they are also very flexible with cancellations for racers - the rules are not the same 1 week advance that HPDE has. He asked me to pass the word.
Tip: Register Early
Here is an example…
Hyperfest sold out HPDE3 in 4 days and HPDE1 and HPDE2 in 6 days
The Autobahn and Thunder groups sold out in less than a week.

I find that hard to believe.
Actually, I was talking to him because I was registering late - after the web site reg closed. It cost me extra $$$, and he explained to me as a new racer how it all works and asked me to pass it along to the other rooks.
Good point and post… It cost me an extra $50 when I failed to register on time for the season opener…
