#77 was DQ’d from 4th Sunday due to being 5 lbs underweight

Per CCR Rule 17.8, each competition vehicle will be given a five (5.0) pound
leeway at that car’s first official weigh of each race weekend.

Just curious about this. If you don’t get weighed until after sundays race you can be 5 pounds under, but if you qualed in the top three and weighed over 2700. Then finished top 3 and weigh an once under 2700 after the race you’re DQed?

Yes this is correct. Once you have been weighed in a weekend, you must be above 2700. This includes if the weigh in was voluntary.
